Periodically, we have events coming up that we promote and/or produce. Some of them are more frequent than others. For example, we hold a Dance Social every 4th Saturday of the month. However, we have a dance competition and a showcase once per year. See below for details on some of those things happening...

Events

4th Saturday Social

Every 4th Saturday of the month, we hold a dance social that features a mix of Ballroom, Latin, Country & Swing music by a DJ from 8p-10:30p. This dance is held in the Downstairs Studio at the TDS Space located at 2603 S. Miami Blvd. in Durham. Socials are $12 per person. Check the Calendar for this month's date, or click the "Book Online", then select "Socials" to register for the next one.

Spring Fling Showcase

What is a showcase, you ask? In short, it’s a recital for (mostly) adults… Why would we produce a recital for adults? Because it gives our students a goal.

Many aspiring dancers like to perform.

Our next Showcase will be held at the TR (Theatre Raleigh) Studio located at 3027 Barrow Drive in Raleigh from 7p-10p on Saturday, April 6th, 2024. For more information CLICK HERE!

Classes

There are classes available at several times throughout the year. Most classes are 6 week courses costing $80 per person for the entire course. To see what is being offered now or soon, check out the Calendar or the Book Online feature on this website. Any currently available classes will be listed under the private lesson options on "Classes" tab.

Philly Fall Fest

PFF is a weekend dance convention produced by Shari & her husband, Matt, held in Philadelphia, PA. on or around Halloween weekend every year. It's a UCWDC sanctioned competition event, and Worlds qualifier, but truly it is so much more! Among other amenities, you can enjoy lots of workshops & social dancing with a Halloween theme, complete with Murder Mystery Dinner & costume contest shenanigans.
